TSA Overboard?

Hello! This blog should be interesting today. Scanning through AOL to check my mail I came across an article on a 3 year old in a wheel chair, with a cast on his leg, being pat down by TSA. The child was being accompanied by his father, mother, two siblings, and grandparents. The family was headed to Disney, but they were side swiped by security before being able to board their plane. The father of the 3 year old managed to capture the whole thing on video. As the video is being played it is remarkable how the father is able to control his self during the situation. In this case I will take the side of the father and child. Due to the 9/11 attacks security has tightened the reins when traveling by plane. I am thankful for this, but I do not see the need to pat down a child who is incapable of walking. As the video plays out you see how an elderly woman with a cane is pulled aside and begins to receive a pat down as well. To become a member of TSA, the members need to hold certain qualities of being able to judge and read people. I feel like anyone is being accepted into this job without having the essential characteristics. This is not just one story that I have heard relating to plane security. This problem seems to becoming more predominant as air transportation seems to be increasing. However some reports show how people are refusing to travel by plane due to situations like this. Unfortunately, I feel that situations like the one reported will only become more popular as time goes on. I do feel that it will affect the number of people who decided to fly. Here is the link to this story, view the video and come up with your own conclusion.
